Many people who contact about Law of Attraction coaching can’t understand why they’re not attracting what they want. One question I like to ask people is “How often each day do you spend focusing on what you want, and why you want it?” After a brief silence, they admit that it’s not very often. This is part of the problem. How can we expect to attract what we want if we’re not deliberately focusing on it every day? Then they want to know how often they should focus on what they want. Then I ask “How much do you want to attract “X” into your life?” “X” could be more money, a wonderful relationship, a better job, etc. They usually respond by saying they want to attract it in a big way. So the answer to how often is VERY often! We have to understand that we must focus on what we want, and why we want it as much as possible. Most people probably focus more on the lack of not having whatever it is they want – that just keeps it from manifesting. Though I teach my clients many processes to help them focus on what they want so they can attract it, thinking about what you want every day is key. So whoever is reading this – I’m asking you “How often do you focus on what you are wanting?”
You have to be careful who you’re getting Law of Attraction advice from. The other day I received a phone call from an old friend. After catching up, she informed me that she was teaching people about the Law of Attraction. At first I was happy for her, and that more people are learning about LOA. However, then she went on for about 10 minutes complaining and complaining about how much money she doesn’t have, how it’s so hard to find an apartment, and other negative (low vibration) thoughts. After our conversation (or more like her rant about what she doesn’t want) it was clear that she really doesn’t understand the Law of Attraction at all. Because if she did she would know that all that complaining was just setting herself up for those things to continue to be difficult for her to manifest. Are you focusing alot on what you don’t want?
A similar story. For those of you who don’t know, I am also certified as a Consulting Hypnotist. During my training, someone in the program told me that she teaches a course part-time called “Laws of the Universe” in which she spends about 10 minutes teaching about the Law of Attraction, and then she moves on to the next topic. First I was a little suspicious about only spending 10 minutes teaching about it. Throughout the hypnosis training she would tell me different stories about her current life issues. It was clear to me that she may know the basic definition of LOA, but she certainly isn’t practicing what she preaches because her current life situation would be much different, and here she is teaching people about LOA! Are you using what you know about LOA to benefit your life?
The above stories really showed me that many people “out there” who know about, and even teach LOA, are not using what they know, or they don’t fully understanding LOA, and that reflects how their lives are. So please ask yourself – do you really understand what LOA is, and are you really using what you do know to improve your life?

Are you letting what most people think bring you down unnecessarily?
Sometimes we buy into believing what most people talk about and that can bring you down.
For example, if it’s raining outside when you wake up you may think “Ugh it’s raining outside, it’s going to be a gloomy, ikky day.” Or even “It’s so bad out today because it’s raining.”
Some other examples could be “Oh man tomorrow is Monday, back to the grind” or “It’s so hot out it’s miserable.”
I think you get the idea of what I’m talking about. Thinking these types of thoughts only serves to bring you down and helps to attract other experiences and circumstances to yourself that will also bring you down!
Isn’t it better if it’s raining out to think “Yay, it’s raining, I get to experience rain and that’s great” or “Tomorrow is Monday, excellent, I’m looking forward to experiencing a new day!” or “It’s so hot out, I’m so thankful I get to experience what that feels like.”
Do you see how you don’t have to go along with what most people proclaim, you can decide to turn those experiences into vibration raising experiences instead – it’s always a choice and I hope you decide to think on your own and go for the positive choice so that you’ll attract more positive experiences and thoughts into your life!
People interested in the Law of Attraction always want to know what keeps something they want from manifesting.
The answer is resistance is what keeps what you’re wanting from manifesting.
One place resistance is found is in the questions that most people get caught up in like “how is this going to come to me, I’m asking for too much?” or the ever popular “why is it taking so long to manifest?”
Once you get caught up in those types of questions, it brings your focus on the lack of what you’re wanting. Knowing that the Law of Attraction is always matching what you’re focusing on, you’re just going to get more of the same.
A good way to look at it is that when you get in your car to drive somewhere you know with certainty that you’re going to get there. You don’t turn around half way there thinking you better go back home because you’re not there yet! The same holds true for when you want to manifest something. You focus on the wanting of it without getting caught up in when or how it will arrive.
Once you work with a Law of Attraction life coach you’ll learn processes that lower the resistance to what you’re wanting and keep you focused on what you want. When you focus on what you want, and allow it to come, it will! What are you focusing on?
Believe it or not, relationships and the Law of Attraction have alot to do with each other. When I use the word “relationships,” to me there are three types. There’s the relationship you have with yourself, the relationship(s) you have with other people, and of course the relationship you have, or want to have, with a love interest.
The thoughts and vibrations you’re putting out about all 3 types of relationships is exactly what you’re experiencing. Have you ever even thought about the relationship you have with yourself? Are you good to yourself, kind to yourself, or do you put yourself down? What about the relationships you have with other people? Do you enjoy them, criticize them, or go out of your way to make them “good?” And of course where are you thoughts about finding true love, or if you have found it, are you enjoying it, or complaining about it?
If you really take the time to ask yourself the above questions, it’s a great start to finding out where your thoughts/vibrations are when it comes to relationships.
Once you’re honest with yourself about where you stand, then you can start using Law of Attraction processes to start attracting the kind of relationships you really want, in all areas of your life, including with yourself!

It would be so cool if there was a thought meter that would count how many thoughts we have throughout an entire day. To take it one step further, it would be even better if the meter would print out a report at the end of the day with two columns. Column one would be called “Negative Thoughts” and column two would be called “Positive Thoughts.” Then under each column it would print out what those thoughts were. I have a feeling the “Negative Thought” column would have a lot more thoughts on it than the positive thought column!
When you stop to think about it, we’re always thinking about something. Are you usually thinking about questions like these: why “something” went wrong? why don’t I have enough of “something”? why did this happen? why did that happen? why didn’t he do what he said he would do? why am I still doing what I don’t want to do? I’m afraid of what my future holds, I’m worried about “something”, will I ever fall in love? and on and on and on!
With all these negative thoughts running through your head all day long, it’s no surprise that all these thoughts mentioned above (and others along those lines) are still what’s manifesting for you.
The good news is that you can take control of your thoughts little by little, day by day, thought by thought. One way to do this is that when you find yourself thinking a negative thought, literally ask yourself “what do I want?” Once you know what you want (which is usually the opposite of the negative thought) and you start focusing on what you want, then eventually what you want will become what is. The trick is that you have to practice asking yourself that question “What do I want?” over and over. Eventually, with practice, more and more of your thoughts will be about what you want, instead of what you don’t want. Oh what a joyous day that will be.
It sounds easy enough, but will you really do it? I hope so!

The question of the day is “Do you have to know how something you want is going to manifest?”
The answer is “no!”
When it comes to working with the Law of Attraction so many people get caught up in how something they want is going to manifest that it just keeps the resistance from blocking it. They think thoughts like “I want to go on a cruise but how is the money going to come?” or “I really want to buy that house, but it’s $30,000 more than I can afford.”
The good news is that it’s not your job to figure out the how. As hard as that may be for you to believe, it’s the truth.
Your job is to match the vibration of whatever it is you’re wanting, and then allow the Law of Attraction to deliver it without getting caught up in how or when.
Because once you get caught up in the how (or when), you start putting up resistance, and it’s the resistance that blocks the manifestation.
That’s why I use the processes I use with my clients (and with myself), because when you use them, you’re lessening the resistance to whatever it is you’re wanting and allowing your vibration to raise so you can match whatever it is you’re wanting.
Once you experience doing this, you really start to get it and that’s when positive changes start to occur.
It’s wonderful when you start to live your life from a Law of Attraction point of view.
