An alarm attached to your thoughts?

What you focus on and give your attention to, is what you’re going to attract.  A good way to find out if you’re focusing on what you want is to ask yourself “If an alarm was attached to my thoughts and it went off every time I thought about something negative, how often would it be going off?”

For most people, that alarm would be going off alot!  What about for you?  That answer gives you a good idea of if you’re focusing on what you want or not.

How to stop that thought alarm from going off.

One easy way to help you focus more on what you want (and stop that alarm from going off) is when you catch yourself thinking about what you don’t want, just ask yourself “What do I want?” about whatever it was you were thinking about, and then start focusing on that.

Once you know what you want, do your best to stay focused on it so that you can attract it.  The more you focus on what you want, the more you will attract it, it’s the law.

It’s also a great idea to randomly get used to asking yourself “What do I want?” about various areas of your life because it forces you to think about what you want, over what you don’t want.

So don’t let that thought alarm go off – do your best to focus on what you want, what you want, what you want.

Many people who contact me about Law of Attraction coaching can’t understand why they’re not attracting what they want.  One question I like to ask is “How often each day do you spend focusing on what you want, and why you want it?”  After a brief silence, they admit that it’s not very often.  That’s part of the problem.

Ask yourself what you want more often

How can you expect to attract what we want if we’re not deliberately focusing on what we want every day?

How often should I focus on what I want?

The next question is typically how often should I focus on what I want each day?  I then ask “How much do you want to attract “X” into your life?”  “X” could be more money, a wonderful relationship, a better job, etc.  They usually respond by saying they want to attract it 100% as soon as possible.  So the answer to how often is – VERY often!

You have to understand that you must focus on what we want, and why you want it as much as possible because the more you do that in the “right” way, the more it’s going to manifest.

Unfortunately, most people probably focus more on the lack of not having whatever it is they want – which just keeps it from manifesting.

Though I teach my clients many processes to help them focus on what they want so they can attract whatever they want, thinking about what you want in the “right” way, every day is key.  The more the better.

So if you’re reading this I’m asking you – “How often do you focus on what you are wanting?”  If it’s not every day, then do your best to start focusing on what you want more often.

The Thought Meter . . .

The Thought Meter

It would be so cool if there was a thought meter that would count how many thoughts we have throughout an entire day.  To take it one step further, it would be even better if the meter would print out a report at the end of the day with two columns.  Column one would be called “Negative Thoughts” and column two would be called “Positive Thoughts.”  Then, under each column it would print out what those thoughts were.  I have a feeling the “Negative Thought” column would have a lot more thoughts on it than the positive thought column!

When you stop to think about it, we’re always thinking about something. Are you usually thinking about questions like these:  why “something” went wrong? why don’t I have enough of “something”? why did this happen? why did that happen? why didn’t he do what he said he would do? why am I still doing what I don’t want to do? I’m afraid of what my future holds, I’m worried about “something”, will I ever fall in love? and on and on and on?

With all these negative thoughts running through your head all day long, it’s no surprise that all these thoughts mentioned above (and others along those lines) are still what’s manifesting for you.

Changing Your Thoughts

The good news is that you can choose to take control of your thoughts little by little, day by day, thought by thought.

One way to do this is that when you find yourself thinking a negative thought, literally ask yourself “what do I want?”  Once you know what you want (which is usually the opposite of the negative thought you were thinking) and you start focusing on what you want, then eventually what you want will become what is.  The trick is that you have to practice asking yourself that question “What do I want?” over and over.

Eventually, with practice, more and more of your thoughts will be about what you want, instead of what you don’t want.  Oh what a joyous day that will be.  If there really was a Thought Meter, wouldn’t it be wonderful if eventually the positive thought side was much greater than the negative thought side?

It’s important for me to offer free mini phone coaching sessions.  This is because the potential client can experience this type of coaching to see if they resonate with.  On my end of things, I find out what the client may want coaching for, and if I think I’m a good match for them.

What is Law of Attraction coaching like?

During the free mini phone coaching session, I give the potential client a few examples of how Law of Attraction can help them and why it would help them.  I always explain things as simply as possible, but in as much detail as possible.  To me, learning about the Law of Attraction is like when you first start to learn math.  If you don’t understand the basics of math, you’re not going to understand it as it gets more advanced.  The same is true about the Law of Attraction.  If you don’t understand the basics, and why, as time goes on, you’re not going to understand more advanced LOA talk and how to apply it in your own life.

Of course everyone comes to coaching with different life situations and desires, but with my experience and training, there’s nothing we can’t talk about, or work on with success.

Law of Attraction in Action…

Law of Attraction in Action

I have many great personal “wins” as a wonderful example of the Law of Attraction in action – all in one night.

Out of the blue (Law of Attraction) I was offered 2 tickets to see a popular musical because the people who purchased the tickets couldn’t go, so they thought of me. That alone is a great win, but there’s more wins to tell.

When I pulled up to the theater they had several parking lots and each one was loaded with cars. I pulled into the closest lot to the theater and saw a long line of cars in front of me all heading towards the very back of the lot.  Of course I was thinking that I’d really like a close spot even though there aren’t any.

Suddenly the attendant who was in charge of that lot came over to my car and said “why don’t you take this spot” and she pointed to the very first spot in the lot. Apparently they were saving it for someone, but for whatever reason they never showed. So there I was offered the first spot in the lot that was practically saved for me! What a wonderful “win.”  She could have gone over to any car, but was drawn to my car.

Once inside I was taken to my seat which was in the center, and in the orchestra section. To make it even better, it looked like every seat was taken except the seat directly next to me. The empty seat next to me gave me more leg room and made it much more comfortable.

How many example can I have in one night of Law of Attraction in action? Apparently many!

When you live with an awareness of the Law of Attraction and choose to use the processes and techniques I teach my clients, nights like these are bound to happen!

I hope whoever reads about my wins, also has some great wins as well.

Where are you going?

Where are you going?

The other day on the train I found it very interesting that the conductor was only telling the passengers where the train WASN’T going instead of where it IS going. He was literally announcing “passengers, this train is not going to “X”, “Y”, and “Z”.

It made me think about the Law of Attraction because I bet most people spend most of their time thinking about where they’re not going in their lives. Of course when it comes to the Law of Attraction, the more someone thinks about where they’re not going, the more they’re not going to get anywhere they want to be – metaphorically speaking.

Where do you want to go?

So it made me think how wonderful it would be if we all spent our time thinking of where we want to go in life.  That would be so amazing if we actually did that.

This could mean focusing on things like: the kind of job you want (instead of the one you don’t like), the kind of person you want to end up with (instead of complaining about all the ones who were wrong for you), how much money you want to have (instead of feeling bad about how much you don’t have), etc., etc.

Wouldn’t it be nice if we all focused on where we want to go in life instead of on where we’re not going?  By doing that we’d all be setting ourselves up to attract the kind of life we want.

Law of Attraction and Conversations

Law of Attraction and Conversations

Being a Law of Attraction life coach I know my ear is more tuned into what people are saying than most people. However, recently I heard several conversations between people that I happened to be sitting by and I came to a realization. The realization being that most people have no idea that they’re attracting what they focus on, and are focusing on what they don’t want!

For example, one of the conversations was between to guys on the bus (they were sitting behind me). The entire bus ride (about 20 minutes), their conversation was one guy complaining to the other guy about his wife and kids, and the other guy agreeing with him, and in return giving negative examples of things he didn’t like about his wife and kid. They had no idea that by focusing on all the negative aspects of their families, they’re just going to attract more experiences like that. Not to mention they had to be lowering each other’s vibrations with each negative thought.

The other wonderful example I have (I say sarcastically) was between two women on the train. They too were complaining to each other about their boyfriends the entire train ride! No wonder why they have so much to complain about – the complaints seem to be all they want to focus on.

Become more aware.

So I ask you – what do you talk about with your friends? Do you complain about this and that, or do you focus on positive aspects of your life and experiences?

When you hear others complaining by the water cooler, are you joining in that vibration too?

Once you know about the Law of Attraction and find out techniques on how it all works so you can have it working to your benefit, it’s amazing how you won’t find yourself engaging in complaints about this and that because you know you’ll just attract more things to complain about.

So here’s to all the people out there who are practicing Law of Attraction techniques so that they will attract wonderful experiences and enjoy life!
