Law of Attraction Advice Warning…

You have to be careful who you’re getting Law of Attraction advice from.  The other day I received a phone call from an old friend.  After catching up, she informed me that she was teaching people about the Law of Attraction.  At first I was happy for her, and that more people are learning about LOA.  However, then she went on for about 10 minutes complaining and complaining about how much money she doesn’t have, how it’s so hard to find an apartment, and other negative (low vibration) thoughts.  After our conversation (or more like her rant about what she doesn’t want) it was clear that she really doesn’t understand the Law of Attraction at all.  Because if she did she would know that all that complaining was just setting herself up for those things to continue to be difficult for her to manifest.  Are you focusing alot on what you don’t want?

A similar story.  For those of you who don’t know, I am also certified as a Consulting Hypnotist.  During my training, someone in the program told me that she teaches a course part-time called “Laws of the Universe” in which she spends about 10 minutes teaching about the Law of Attraction, and then she moves on to the next topic.  First I was a little suspicious about only spending 10 minutes teaching about it.  Throughout the hypnosis training she would tell me different stories about her current life issues.  It was clear to me that she may know the basic definition of LOA, but she certainly isn’t practicing what she preaches because her current life situation would be much different, and here she is teaching people about LOA!  Are you using what you know about LOA to benefit your life?

The above stories really showed me that many people “out there” who know about, and even teach LOA, are not using what they know, or they don’t fully understanding LOA, and that reflects how their lives are.  So please ask yourself – do you really understand what LOA is, and are you really using what you do know to improve your life?

What Thoughts Are You Choosing?

Are you letting what most people think bring you down unnecessarily?

Sometimes we buy into believing what most people talk about and that can bring you down.

For example, if it’s raining outside when you wake up you may think “Ugh it’s raining outside, it’s going to be a gloomy, ikky day.”  Or even “It’s so bad out today because it’s raining.”

Some other examples could be “Oh man tomorrow is Monday, back to the grind” or “It’s so hot out it’s miserable.”

I think you get the idea of what I’m talking about.  Thinking these types of thoughts only serves to bring you down and helps to attract other experiences and circumstances to yourself that will also bring you down!

Isn’t it better if it’s raining out to think “Yay, it’s raining, I get to experience rain and that’s great” or “Tomorrow is Monday, excellent, I’m looking forward to experiencing a new day!” or “It’s so hot out, I’m so thankful I get to experience what that feels like.”

Do you see how you don’t have to go along with what most people proclaim, you can decide to turn those experiences into vibration raising experiences instead – it’s always a choice and I hope you decide to think on your own and go for the positive choice so that you’ll attract more positive experiences and thoughts into your life!

What do you want?

How often are you actually thinking about what you want?  I hope the answer is as often as possible.  Sometimes it can be easy, because of habit, to think about all the reasons why you don’t have something you want.  Or maybe you think it’s too hard or out of the question to manifest something.  If you spent all the time thinking about what you don’t want and thought about what you do want, that will serve you in several ways.  First of all you’ll keep yourself at a higher vibration.  When you do that, you’re automatically attracting more of what you want.  Secondly, by thinking more about what you do want, you’ll start attracting it into your life.  I understand that sometimes it can feel hard to focus on what you want over what you don’t want.  But believe me, when you deliberately start doing that, and you get used to it, you’ll really feel the difference and how important it is to do that.

What are you focusing on?

Allow or Continue Blocking?

It’s not very often that my computer reminds me about the Law of Attraction.

However, recently when I go to a website a window pops up on the upper right hand corner of the screen and there are two buttons.  One says “Allow” and the other one says “Continue Blocking.”

I love that my computer is now asking me this.  Not because of the reason why the computer is asking me, but because it reminds me to ask myself “am I allowing or blocking what I want to manifest?”  And of course I always remind myself to think “I allow all that I want.”  Whenever I think that I feel a sense of calm.

It’s vital that we always do our best to allow what we want to manifest.  There are several ways to allow.  One easy way is to simply think about and focus on things that make you feel good.  When you do this you are offering little resistance and the opposite of resistance is allowing.

I hope you are also choosing to “Allow” instead of “Continue Blocking.”

Law of Attraction in Real Life

A lot of people resonate with the Law of Attraction but they don’t know how to use it in their daily lives. I get a lot of calls/emails from people who have watched The Secret, or heard information about the Law of Attraction, and it makes sense to them. However, even though it makes sense to them, then they’re like “now what?”

It’s very easy to understand the basic definition of Law of Attraction which is “like energy attracts like energy.” However, even if you understand that, it doesn’t mean you know what to do to attract what you want into your life.

Attracting what you want is for both material things, as well as knowing how to deliberately keep yourself feeling good, so you’ll attract more feel good experiences into your life.  It’s also about making better decisions and handling life situations in the best way possible.

The good news is that once you work with an experienced Law of Attraction life coach, you’ll find out about processes and techniques that you can use daily to keep the Law of Attraction working in your favor. It’s kind of like when you read a self-help book but you don’t actually do what the author says, so you don’t really benefit from the information. The same holds true with the Law of Attraction. You can know about it, and even agree with it, but until you practice various processes that help keep you focused and excited about what you are wanting, you won’t benefit from it.

For example, a client of mine was looking to make a career change but nothing was happening. She even knew where she wanted to work. Then she started using some of the processes she learned, and within a few weeks “out of the blue” a customer of hers revealed where he worked, and it turned out to be the exact place that she wanted to work! She told her customer that, and he didn’t hesitate to give her vital information on how to get the job she wanted.

Of course this didn’t just happen “out of the blue.”  By doing the processes, she lessened her resistance to what she was wanting, and as a result Law of Attraction made it happen. Law of Attraction is happening in your real life every day. The question is, are you attracting what you want, or what you don’t want?

If you’re attracting what you don’t want and/or want to know how to handle life situations int he best way possible, it’s time you learn how to start attracting what you do want! The good news is that It just gets better when you live your life from a Law of Attraction point-of-view.

Enjoying life…

Are you one of those people who thinks that one of the reasons we’re here is to enjoy life?

I don’t know about you, but I am!

I think it’s important to do something every day that you enjoy, that’s fun, and/or that makes you feel good.

It can be easy to get caught up in the daily grind and forget that experiencing joy is a right that we all have.

The good thing is that no matter how busy you are, there’s something you can do to have a joyful experience. At a minimum you can laugh about something funny that you experienced in the past. I like doing that because when I think of something funny that happened to me, I instantly start laughing again about it. One of my experiences that I like to think about is the time that I went with my friend Lynn to a serious movie, and we were in a fun mood and were laughing throughout the movie at scenes that weren’t supposed to be funny!

Of course if you have more time, just doing something you consider fun is a great way to experience joy.

Hopefully this post is a reminder to go out of your way to have fun, to laugh, to do something you enjoy so that you can enjoy your life. And remember, when it comes to Law of Attraction, the more you do to experience joy, the more joyful experiences and circumstances you’ll attract!

So go enjoy doing something!
