Law of Attraction and the Slot Machine (again)

I had once written a blog post about going to the casino.  I now have another great post about going to the casino and playing slot machine.  Of course, I went from a Law of Attraction point-of-view and boy did I win!

I decided on the way to the casino that I was just going to focus on how fun it will be to play the slots, and how I’m always lucky.  By doing this I was putting myself in the vibration of winning.

When I first got there I played a new machine.  It was called something like “Phoenix Princess.”  I could win by either getting the bonus, or it also had a random bonus where a phoenix would rise up across the screen and make certain columns wild.

I sat at the machine with my high vibration and only 3 spins in, I got the bonus!  During the bonus I kept winning, but on one spin the entire screen filled with the princess.  That bonus paid $400!  What a great way to start playing the slot machines.

As the night went on the more typical thing happened where I won, I lost, I won, etc.

However, at the end of the nigh when everyone was ready to leave, I had time to play one more machine.  There was a fun machine I played before called something like “Wild Unicorns.”  So I sat at the machine and took a more proactive stance and thought “I want to get the bonus, I want to get the bonus.”  A few spins later I got the bonus!  During the bonus I kept thinking “I want the entire screen to fill with unicorns!”  I kept thinking that because I figured that would pay out the most.  Guess what, a few spins in during the bonus the entire screen filled with unicorns!  It was amazing.  That bonus paid out $420!

What a fun and successful time I had at the casino.

Law of Attraction and Friends

People always ask me if they are trying to change by improving how they think and feel, do they have to let go of their friends who are more negative?  The answer to this is yes and no.  Obviously we can’t run from everyone because even though some people we know may be more negative, they may still have some good qualities we like about them.  However, that being said, there may be some people we know who really are “toxic” and are so negative that it would be a good idea to greatly distance ourselves from them.

Solutions Regarding Friends

A good idea when it comes to people we don’t want to totally distance ourselves from is to just limit our time with them.  Maybe we only spend an hour with them instead of 3 hours.  Or, maybe when we call them to chat if the conversation starts to veer towards negativity, we do our best to change the subject.

The reason for all this is because when it comes to the Law of Attraction, since it’s always responding to us, giving us more circumstances and situations that match our vibration, we want to spend more time at a higher vibration.  A higher vibration feels good and that’s where we want to be as much as possible.  When we keep ourselves at a higher vibration then we attract more experiences that are high vibration experiences.  We’ll even attract people who are more positive, and some of our friends who are more low vibration will fade away because they can tell you’re not a match with them anymore.  So that’s why it’s important to spend more time with your more positive (high vibration) friends and less time with your more negative (low vibration) friends.

It’s also important to know that once we know how to deliberately keep ourselves at a raised vibration, lower vibration people won’t effect us as much because we’re feeling too good.

True Happiness

True Happiness and Law of Attraction

Did you know that true happiness comes from within – it’s not circumstantial?  Of course when something good happens for us, it can make us feel happy in the moment.  But, after a short amount of time the high from that wears off.

However, if we learn how to be truly happy from within, and we are really feeling that way, Law of Attraction can’t help but bring us circumstances and experiences that support us feeling happy.

So the next time you realize you’re not feeling happy, you have to do something about it!

What can you do to feel happy?

There are several things we can do to deliberately help ourselves feel happy.  Some examples are:

  • Reach for better thoughts;
  • do something fun;
  • exercise;
  • go to the mall;
  • call a good friend and catch up;
  • focus on something you want and feel how good it would feel to have it.

Taking control of your happiness without it depending on outside factors feels so good and really makes a positive difference.  Once you do that, not only will you feel better in general, but you’ll really notice how you are more in control of being happy than you thought.

The Thought Meter . . .

The Thought Meter

It would be so cool if there was a thought meter that would count how many thoughts we have throughout an entire day.  To take it one step further, it would be even better if the meter would print out a report at the end of the day with two columns.  Column one would be called “Negative Thoughts” and column two would be called “Positive Thoughts.”  Then, under each column it would print out what those thoughts were.  I have a feeling the “Negative Thought” column would have a lot more thoughts on it than the positive thought column!

When you stop to think about it, we’re always thinking about something. Are you usually thinking about questions like these:  why “something” went wrong? why don’t I have enough of “something”? why did this happen? why did that happen? why didn’t he do what he said he would do? why am I still doing what I don’t want to do? I’m afraid of what my future holds, I’m worried about “something”, will I ever fall in love? and on and on and on?

With all these negative thoughts running through your head all day long, it’s no surprise that all these thoughts mentioned above (and others along those lines) are still what’s manifesting for you.

Changing Your Thoughts

The good news is that you can choose to take control of your thoughts little by little, day by day, thought by thought.

One way to do this is that when you find yourself thinking a negative thought, literally ask yourself “what do I want?”  Once you know what you want (which is usually the opposite of the negative thought you were thinking) and you start focusing on what you want, then eventually what you want will become what is.  The trick is that you have to practice asking yourself that question “What do I want?” over and over.

Eventually, with practice, more and more of your thoughts will be about what you want, instead of what you don’t want.  Oh what a joyous day that will be.  If there really was a Thought Meter, wouldn’t it be wonderful if eventually the positive thought side was much greater than the negative thought side?

It sounds easy enough, but will you really do it?  I hope so!

Law of Attraction talk…

Every day when you wake up you start thinking about something, and of course thoughts come and go throughout the day.  Some of the thoughts you’re thinking are negative (low vibration), and some are positive (high vibration).

However, most people go about their day as a victim to their thoughts.  If something good happens they’re in a good mood and will think what a great day they’re having.  If something bad happens they’ll most likely think what a bad day they’re having.  It sounds simple, but it’s the truth.

But the real question is “How often is the Law of Attraction effecting your life?”  Is it sometimes or only when you think about it?  The Law of Attraction is effecting your life all the time, whether you’re aware that it is or not.  It’s giving you more of what you’re thinking about and focusing on regardless if it’s “good” or “bad.”  If you’re thinking about it, you’re going to get more of whatever that is.

You can choose to improve your thoughts

The good news is that you don’t have to be a victim to your thoughts and emotions.  You can choose to do something about it so you can feel excited about your life all the time and start attracting more of what you want.  Even if you’re feeling very low, you can still reach for a thought that help you feels a little better.  A little better is better than where you were.  Then, as the day goes on you can reach for better thoughts that will help you eventually return to feeling really good.

But, you have to start to becoming more aware of how you’re thinking about what you’re thinking about, and when you find you’re thinking about something negative, flip that thought to the opposite, positive thought, and then focus on that (as opposed to staying stuck thinking about the negative).

For example, if you find you’re thinking about how you don’t have enough money, start to think about how you have plenty of money and get excited about how that would feel.  It doesn’t matter if you don’t have excess money because the Law of Attraction is responding to your higher vibration about money, and will start to make things happen in your life so that you’ll start attracting more money.

So the next time you feel like you’re not as happy as you could be, start deliberately reaching for better thoughts until you make yourself happy again.  It takes practice, but with time and awareness, you can master feeling happy more often than not.

Law of Attraction in Real Life

A lot of people resonate with the Law of Attraction but they don’t know how to use it in their daily lives.  I say this because I get a lot of calls/emails from people who have watched The Secret, or heard information about the Law of Attraction, and it makes sense to them. However, even though it makes sense to them then they’re like “now what?”

It’s very easy to understand the basic definition of Law of Attraction which is “like energy attracts like energy.” However, even if you understand that it doesn’t mean you know what to do to attract what you want into your life.

Attracting what you want

Attracting what you want is for both material things and fulfilling emotional needs.  It’s also important to know how to deliberately keep yourself feeling good, so you’ll attract more feel good experiences into your life.

The good news is that once you work with an experienced Law of Attraction life coach, you’ll find out about processes and techniques that you can use daily to keep the Law of Attraction working in your favor. It’s kind of like when you read a self-help book but you don’t actually do what the author says, so you don’t really benefit from the information. The same holds true with the Law of Attraction. You can know about it, and even agree with it, but until you practice various processes that help keep you focused and excited about what you are wanting, you won’t benefit from it.  I say this because though there is alot of great information out there about Law of Attraction, most of it doesn’t give you real examples on how to get it to work in your favor.

For example, a client of mine was looking to make a career change but nothing was happening. She even knew where she wanted to work. Then she started using some of the processes she learned, and within a few weeks “out of the blue” a customer of hers revealed where he worked, and it turned out to be the exact place that she wanted to work! She told her customer that, and he didn’t hesitate to give her vital information on how to get the job she wanted.

Of course this didn’t just happen “out of the blue.”  By doing the processes she lessened her resistance to what she was wanting, and as a result Law of Attraction made it happen. Law of Attraction is happening in your real life every day. The question is, are you attracting what you want, or what you don’t want?

If you’re attracting what you don’t want and/or want to know how to handle life situations in the best way possible, it’s time you learn how to start attracting what you do want!

The good news is that it just gets better when you live your life from a Law of Attraction point-of-view because you feel happier and you start attracting what you want (instead of what you don’t want).

Enjoying life…

Enjoying Life

Are you one of those people who thinks that one of the reasons we’re here is to enjoy life?

I don’t know about you, but I am!

It can be easy to get caught up in the daily grind and forget that experiencing joy is a right that we all have.  So as a reminder, I think it’s important to do deliberately do something every day that you enjoy, that’s fun, and/or that makes you feel good.

No matter how busy you are, there’s something you can do to have a joyful experience. At a minimum you can laugh about something funny that you experienced in the past. I like doing that because when I think of something funny that happened to me, I instantly start laughing again about it and it feels good. One of my experiences that I like to think about is the time that I went with my friend Lynn to a serious movie.  We were in a fun mood and were laughing throughout the movie at scenes that weren’t supposed to be funny!  No one else in the theater knew why we were laughing, but we just were and it made it so much fun.

Of course if you have more time, just doing something you consider fun is a great way to experience joy like hiking, painting, exercising, etc.

Hopefully this post is a reminder to go out of your way to have fun, to laugh, to do something you enjoy so that you can enjoy your life. And remember, when it comes to the Law of Attraction, the more you do to experience joy, the more joyful experiences and circumstances you’ll attract!

So go enjoy doing something and reap the benefits!
