Law of Attraction and depression

It’s wonderful to use the Law of Attraction to attract material things into your life. You can use it to attract anything from your dream home, to your dream car, to attracting more money, and even your dream job.

However, another great aspect of using the Law of Attraction is using it to keep yourself feeling good. What I mean by feeling good is feeling excited about life, feeling excited about starting a new day, feeling better emotionally than you used to.

I actually think using the Law of Attraction in this way is even more powerful than for material things. Once you know the processes to do this, and you go through each day feeling better and more excited about your life than you used to, those higher vibrations will actually effect the other areas of your life in a positive way, and you’ll start attracting more experiences and situations that will keep you feeling good and exciting about life! You can actually choose not to feel depressed or sad or down. Once you do that and you know how, what a difference a day makes. After all, why would you choose to feel bad when you can choose to feel better and better and better?

So the next time you feel bad or depressed about something, do your best not to hang out in that vibration, and do something fun to raise yourself up out of that. After all, we’re supposed to experience joy as much as possible, so why not say “yes” to that?!

Do you hate your job but want it to improve?

Are you someone who dreads going to work for various reasons? If so, you may be wondering how you can use the Law of Attraction to help you improve your work situation. Believe it or not there are a few ways, but for this article I’ll let you know about one of them. It comes in the form of a question. It may sound alarming at first since you’re so used to thinking about how much you don’t like your job, but here it is: “what do you appreciate and like about your job?” Even though you might be find it really hard to find something you do like, search for something you like or appreciate and focus on that instead of constantly focusing on what you don’t like.

For example, say there are a few co-works that you enjoy at the office. Focus on the good times and conversations you have. Or maybe you enjoy the company of other people in general so it’s healthy for you to just be out and around people? Could it be that you’re helping people in what you do so that’s something positive you could focus on? Of course the obvious benefit of going to work is making money. Think of all the wonderful things that the money you make allows you to do and have.

You see, if you focus on what you like about going to work, then eventually the universe will bring into your life a better work situation for you because that’s what you’ve been giving your attention to. But, if you constantly focus on how much you don’t like going to work, and other negative thoughts about your job, then that’s what you’ll keep attracting.

Thinking positive thoughts about your job will lessen the resistance you have about it, and less resistance will help you attract what you do want. It may be hard to do this at first, but with a little practice you’ll be able to start finding things you do like about going to work. Eventually you may actually like going to your job because you’re focusing on what you do like about it, and then you’ll just feel better in general.

Who knows, maybe after you try this exercise you’ll realize that you do like your job? But at a minimum, by doing this exercise you’ll at least get some practice in focusing on what you like, and the more you do that, the better it gets.

Law of Attraction Simplified

The Law of Attraction can be defined in several ways. Some of the easiest definitions are “like attracts like,” or “you get what you think about.” But what does that mean, and how does it effect you?

It means that what you’re thinking about and/or focusing on is what you’re going to attract to your life regardless of if it’s good or bad. You can attract things such as more money, your dream house, a relationship, or ever your dream car. You can also attract a better emotional state and less stress, so you just feel more excited about your life. Or, on the other hand, you could attract something unwanted like a bad personal situation, not enough money, or always feeling stressed.

That’s why it’s important to know that the Law of Attraction is always operating in your life 24/7. Fortunately there are processes and techniques you can find out about so that you can use the Law of Attraction so it works in your favor.

One process that I like is called pivoting. This is when you realize that you’re thinking about what you don’t want, and then immediately flip the thought to what you do want, and stay focused on that.

For example, say you realize that you’re thinking about how you never have enough money. Then you realize that’s what you’re thinking about so you immediately flip the thought and think more positive thoughts like “I have unlimited money; It feels so good to have limitless amounts of money; I can buy whatever I want!”

The key is to be aware enough of your thoughts so you can use the pivot process. With practice you’ll start thinking more about what you do want than what you don’t want, and then you’ll start seeing what you do want showing up in your life!

Another “win” to share…

I really like sharing “wins” because not only does it demonstrate Law of Attraction in action, the more I focus on what wins I’m having, the more wins will come my way. I don’t know about you, but I want as many wins as possible!

I was thinking about advertising my life coaching in Natural Awakenings. That magazine is distributed all over the U.S. and since I do phone coaching, I was thinking of trying out different cities. One of the places I was thinking about placing an ad was in the Boston area. So I contacted the person in charge and when we spoke she said “I’m vibratizing my life!” At first I thought she was just conscious of keeping her vibrations high, but then she said that she read my book “Vibratize Your Life” and is practicing the techniques in the book and was thoroughly enjoying it. She then said she also told her sister about the book, and now they’re both consciously vibratizing their lives and loving the results.

This was amazing to me that the person I called had read the book because it’s rare that I get to talk to people who read it.

Then she went on to tell me that she was enjoying it so much that she left a 5 star review on Amazon!

What an amazing win, and I’m so thankful that the book is helping people and they are enjoying it.
